Praying for Anthony...

On Monday, March 23rd at approximately 8:30pm, Anthony Llodra, a youth from our church New Life Ministries, was involved in a devastating car crash...

The accident happened on 137th avenue and 90th Street...
Although pending an investigation, investigators believe it was a hit and run...

Anthony is alive, breathing and not brain dead but, his left leg had to be amputated, his arm(s) crushed, his right ankle broken, bruised lung(s), kidney failure and a stent had to be surgically placed in his aorta to help with blood and oxygen circulation.... He still has a few pending surgeries and is in an induced coma. Anthony has no idea that any of this has happened to him.

Below is a photo from his accident...

Please join us as ONE body under Christ and pray for Gods child and his family. He is our Healer and all we need. He is our comforter in situations of stress and despair.
Though Him ALL things are possible.

Lord, we place Anthony in Your healing hands. You have a purpose for ALL things and although we may not understand why this has happened, Your ways and thoughts are higher then ours. We ask for peace in Anthony’s spirit and heart when he wakes up. Show him that there is a light at the end of the tunnel and NOTHING is impossible through You! Continue to let your Spirit of peace flow through his family as they wait patiently on You. Be with all the doctors, guide their hands and minds in any decisions made for Anthony’s well-being.
I love you Lord, and pray all of these things in Your mighty name.

For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and His ears are open to their prayers...
1Peter 3:12

Love. Peace. Him...

He is in our thoughts and prayers.

We will lift him up in prayer. May the same power that raised Christ from the grave raise Anthony to fulness of health and life.
Thanks for sharing.

Jorge :

Thank you for your prayers and for taking the time and energy to post this information on your blog. When Anthony arises again, he will be a great testimony to the saving grace of our lord Christ Jesus. God bless you!

He'll pull through this. He's got to. Not after all this time that's passed since the accident. I just know he's going to come out of this. He will.

This is all I've got to offer. I knew Anthony when we went to FCS, and I still consider him my friend even though we haven't spoken much since I left. My hopes and faith go out to him now until he wakes up. It'll be tough when he does... but I'm sure he can handle it. Don't know how, but maybe my wishful thinking can have some kind of effect.
