Fair Shmare...

Oh Girl... Get your hair done and your nails did too... We’re going to The Fair tonight...”

Lord, when did The Fair become a fashion show?

And when did this whole “but-crack hanging out” fashion begin?!

SERIOSULY PEOPLE?!?!

Besides the fashion show, The Fair is the same ol’ Fair.

The food is fattening, greasy, and delicious!

The Fried Peanut Butter and Jelly sandwich was THE MOST AMAZING thing I ate!

I would go back just for that!

Here are a few random shots... Nothing great....

Wasn’t really in the photog mood.

The COOLEST Pants I own!

Yum... Elephant EAR!

I did a couples shoot at The Fair! Those photos came out AMAZING!

 Peace. Love. Him.

TRUE ELEMENTS JAM 2009

Back again for it's 2nd year is the True Elements Jam. Last year was our 1st year and it was a real big success. We had well over 500 people come through. This all started on the way back home from a painting trip we did to Orlando. We started talking about how Miami's graffiti scene was becoming real negative with people having problems with each other and crews disrespecting other crews murals and art work. So we decided to do an event that would bring not only all the elements together, but also bring all the graffiti artist of Miami together. One thing led to the next and with only 3 months to plan the word got out fast and many people were excited that we were doing this for Miami and began donating and sponsoring our event. We had the best graffiti artist of Miami all painting in the same venue. This year we have partnered up with the authors and photographers of "MIAMI GRAFFITI" the book and it will be the official book release party. We have been planning for about 2 months now and the word is spreading quick. None of our advertisement has even been printed yet, but I have found the design of our flyer on over 5 different websites and blogs. Everyone we have spoke to is really excited and we have had a really good response with sponsors this year. The theme of the event this year is "MIAMI". We invited all the top crews of Miami to come and paint murals all relating to what Miami is to them. This is a community event so families, kids, and grown ups are all invited. We will have food, drinks, live music and beautiful art for you to enjoy. Hope to see you all there!!!   Here are a few pics from last years event.         {pedro}  -God says hello

Praying for Anthony...

On Monday, March 23rd at approximately 8:30pm, Anthony Llodra, a youth from our church New Life Ministries, was involved in a devastating car crash...

The accident happened on 137th avenue and 90th Street...
Although pending an investigation, investigators believe it was a hit and run...

Anthony is alive, breathing and not brain dead but, his left leg had to be amputated, his arm(s) crushed, his right ankle broken, bruised lung(s), kidney failure and a stent had to be surgically placed in his aorta to help with blood and oxygen circulation.... He still has a few pending surgeries and is in an induced coma. Anthony has no idea that any of this has happened to him.

Below is a photo from his accident...

Please join us as ONE body under Christ and pray for Gods child and his family. He is our Healer and all we need. He is our comforter in situations of stress and despair.
Though Him ALL things are possible.

Lord, we place Anthony in Your healing hands. You have a purpose for ALL things and although we may not understand why this has happened, Your ways and thoughts are higher then ours. We ask for peace in Anthony’s spirit and heart when he wakes up. Show him that there is a light at the end of the tunnel and NOTHING is impossible through You! Continue to let your Spirit of peace flow through his family as they wait patiently on You. Be with all the doctors, guide their hands and minds in any decisions made for Anthony’s well-being.
I love you Lord, and pray all of these things in Your mighty name.

For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and His ears are open to their prayers...

Miami Graffiti

The first book documenting Miami's Graffiti scene by photographers and authors of the two best-selling New York City graffiti art books, Broken Windows and Burning New York. The book is awesome and really captures what the Miami graffiti scene is. It's been a longtime waiting for a Miami graffiti book to actually come out. Many have talked about it and thought about it, but Jim and Karla Murray actually did it. Thank you so much for your commitment and for capturing the story of Miami Graffiti. Please go out and support and buy this book.. {Plus yours truly comes out a couple times :) }You can buy it through Amazon.com or at Books and Books. Here is a little sneak peek....  Enjoy!

Pandorrraaaaaaa!

Thank You kind sir or ma’am who designed this SPECTACULAR charm bracelet!

For those of you not “in the know” Pandora Charm Bracelets are HOT!
I have been “feigning” for a charm bracelet for a while (after the “Juicy Charm Bracelet got JACKED” scandal of 2007) but, was not happy with anything I saw. I could’ve easily replaced the Juicy one, but wasn’t too thrilled about the whole “It’s not real gold or silver, but cost an arm and a leg” deal... So I’ve been WAAAAIIITTTTING!

I was then introduced to “Brighton” Charm Bracelets... although very cute and fairly cheap, still not real gold or silver... and I’m not very fond of hanging and dangling charms...

Oh and then came the day that Pandora was introduced to me! Beautiful, Simple, Real gold or silver (or both)... Ahhh! Perfect!

Anyhow... Here’s a picture of mine! I only have ONE charm (they are pricey) but will soon be adding more!

**UPDATE! I wrote his post about 2 weeks ago, My husband surprised me with another charm (the CUPCAKE!) yesterday!!! So I now have TWO charms!
Thank You Pandora for accessorizing my wrist so nicely!
I salute you!

Peace. Love. Him.
